I am Thinking about putting together a SpringBreak Trip to either Daytona or Cancun, let me know if you might be interested or if you would like to help me put together the trip.
For my topic i chose the legalization of prostitution and argued my point deductively. In my conclusion i stated that the legalization of prostitution in the United States would be a great benefit to our country. I stated that our government has no right to say that two consenting adults are not allowed to partake in a variety of acts involving sexual intercourse where one person or persons pays the other. I also said that legalizing prostitution would improve our countries economy. Furthermore, I said by legalizing prostitution and legitimizing it, our government can turn something risky and dangerous on an underground level into something safe and controlled in our society.
The topic I choose to do was about the legalization of prostitution and how it would be beneficial to women who are prostitutes. I choose the act of how it would be good for women because they would probably be able to get a better income because the government might see it as job like stripping and being a porn star. Also how women would less likely be getting arrested for the acts of illegally selling their body to get some easy money. With this paper I made sure my argument was seen as inductive because its not certain if the government would see prostitution as job. The government might just let the prostitutes sell their body so they can have their sexual rights in wanting to fulfill their sexual desires with other man.
The topic that i chose to argue is there life after death. I chose to argue this topic inductively. I think that people have their presumptions about life after death, and yet really don't take the time to examine if its true or not. growing up in a predominately christian home. Where the belief was that Jesus Christ died for all man-kinds sins and, that if you didn't live by the words if the bible yiy were subject to torment and anguish. this statement i based on what the bible says. the bible says that there is a afterlife for the good and bad people of the world. i think if your able comprehend the bible , you'll understand that it is the best book ever written by man, and inspired by God himself. Everything in the bible has happened perfectly as God said it would over 2000 years ago. This is another point that helps to reaffirm my faith and that everything he said about loving one other to Heaven and Hell is true. I chose to believe there is an afterlife because God said so.
The topic I chose was The Death Penalty. I wasn't sure if we were to discuss just the death penalty it’s self or were we to discuss if it should be illegal or not. I chose to take a stand of The Death Penalty being illegal. I'm arguing an inductive argument. I feel as if The Death Penalty should be illegal because "death" is taking the easy way out of a situation. When you're sentenced in prison you are sitting behind four walls while having a constant reminder why you are there. The police are treating you like animals. It has been stated by a former criminal, Ted Bundy of 1970 “I wish you had killed me”. The fact that they have to follow a certain routine, live with a guilty conscience of what they did, being tortured by other prisoners everyday for a long period of time, makes them wish they were dead even more. What justice is served if you kill someone who hasn’t realized what they have done? Also the bible and the law states that thou shall not kill. The Government is contradicting themselves by saying not to kill others but they are commiting the same crime as well. The government should not be the one to control someones life. We are Gods people. People are not Gods.
The topic I picked was must sex involve commitment. I argued the topic in an inductive argument. Sex should have some type of commitment connected to it. In my argument I used words such as should, if, and maybe to show probability in my premises. When involving sex in a monogamous relationship you should be committed to that person. Sex seems to be a serious matter. When having sex you are giving a person your body. It should be an intimate matter. Many accidents could come across from sexual activities. Religious reasons are another big reason commitments should be involved when having sex. I give statistics to back up my reasoning for my conclusion. When we engage in sexual activities some type of commitment should be present. During a relationship, a couple should be faithful to each other. Sex is an important part of life and should be an intimate time that you share your body with someone.
The topic that i chose to take a look at was: The legalization of marijuana. i chose to argue from a deductive point of view in which i emphasized a level of certainty about whether marijuana should stand as being legal. i personally think that marijuana should legal. The reason why i took this stance is: marijuana is made from the earth and is a organic remedy to alot of issue we face as human beings. it is medically beneficial to cancer, HIV/AIDS, and even glaucoma. Also, while we choose to make marijuana illegal it is FAR less harmful than the tobacco or alcohol that we choose to let me legal. Lastly, we could benefit as a country by letting marijuana be legal and letting the government put a taxation on the drug. No one has ever died from using this illicit drug, so what is the issue. personally, it is the fact that the federal government does want to lose the battle and give into letting marijuana be legal as they did with alcohol. i think overall it is a matter of "politics" and overall pride. But overall marijuana should be legalized.
The topic that I am discussing inductively is, if people should be committed to each other in order to have sex. I argue with an inductive reasoning because there is a possibility that the couple may become committed, or one person may want a committed relationship after first being, what is called now “Friends with Benefits.” If the couple can remain just friends with benefits without gaining emotional, physical, or mental attachment to each other, or one person to the other. Then go for it. Although, I highly doubt that is possible. Sometimes, but rarely, individuals just like sex. There are people who have one night stands and friends with benefits their entire life. This may be an escape from commitment because they were once hurt deeply, or they just don’t want a monogamist relationship.
The topic that I choose to exam is the legalization of Marijuana. Marijuana is a plant which comes from the earth and considered an illegal drug. Many people use marijuana on a regular basis. I think that marijuana should be made legal. I feel this way for several reasons. People with certain health challenges often use marijuana to help their condition, marijuana cases are filling up courts across the country when our judicial system should focus on much more serious crimes, and finally the government could use some of the tax revenue that the legalization of marijuana could generate. Nearly sixteen states have legalized medical marijuana. Individuals who are ill with cancer use marijuana after chemotherapy treatment. Its use helps them with the nausea that often comes from chemo. Aids patients use it as a stimulant to help increase their appetite. Other forms of illegal drugs such as heroin are used by pharmaceutical companies to make prescribed drugs. Individuals also purchase over the counter drugs to make other drugs such as met, which is more addictive and harmful than marijuana.
Sex is involved in relationships but it should not be. Many people feel that they have to have sex to be accepted by their spouse, man or woman. This is not true, we as people have lost hine-sight to where we came from and what we fight for. We do not have to have sex with everyone that we come in contact with, but many do that and that is sad that this is what our society has come to. If we do not slow down then we will all fall to victim and will not be able to rise. As college students its known more to rise so high because we have the freedom, the dormrooms, and the 24-hr acces. After college this then becgins to slow down but if it does not then I feel that the person this is happening to may have a problem. This is more in men then women. Most women are ready to settle down and have children and be married once out of college. I hope that happens to me even, but we have to bring back the thought of happiness and marriage. Sex is not something that we have to share with everyone but it will happen I will not lie but it is on the person to realize that not everyone is worth the pain, tears, but the emotions that you can spare for the one you love most. A lot of feelings will be saved and a lot of hearts will be savored and instead of damaged and then you feeling like you must have sex with everyone in sight!
